Ogham refers to an ancient script out of Ireland, associated with the Druidic class, where a central stave was marked upward with strokes, forming words using an alphabet of symbols from the Old Gaelic language. These symbols also represented Sacred Trees, many of which fall within a 13-moon Lunar Calendar Wheel, allowing for an astrological correlation between the script and the subsequent Celtic Tree traits.
