Full Moon Nightsky Landscape Art - Sterling Silver with Rayskin and Moonstone
'Full Moon' depicts a nightsky scene, where a full moon and stars shine brightly upon a lone tree, and sacred stone. This 3-D art-scape offers a form of escapism, beckoning the viewer to enter the scene, and leave all worries behind.
An ideal decoration for the mantlepiece, this mixed media Mini Landscape has a base made of driftwood, from which the backdrop extends upwards. The night sky is made from dyed stingray leather, and speckled with stars made from clear cubic zirconias, which ring the full moon of rainbow moonstone. All stones are bezel-set in sterling silver. The tree is constructed from fine, sparkling, bronze wire, and emerges gracefully from the driftwood base. Naturally-formed green crystals, sprout from the sacred stone, which is rimmed with lichen - foraged from forest near the remote inlet town of Bella Coola, B.C.
